The Blog of Jared Head
I’d like to think I’m a part of a new generation of great writers; maybe spark a revolution in the authorial world. I’m young, so there’s plenty of time.
Will it ever end?
That’s a question I ask myself on a near nightly basis. I’m not sure what my problem is. Has the fun of writing this short novel worn itself thin or am I just stalling to try and continue this experience that has changed me for the better forever.
It really has. I’ve changed [...]
There’s this guy who is in my Astronomy class at college. He is very religious, and I only know this because he think’s it’s absolutely necessary to ram whatever Jesus-based religion he believes in down my throat like some kind of stomach-based enema. Mind you there are a lot of faiths based on Jesus, so [...]
“I’ve had so much sex with girls that I’ve moved on to guys.”
I can’t think of anything wittier to top that.

It’s been a work in progress. What started as a NaNoWriMo idea [...]
On a dark and stormy night, I was warned of its existence. Avoid if you can, satirize if you must.
But then again, isn’t it chicle cliche to avoid all the cliches?
Uh-oh, time to reconsider; amiright?
No, you’re wrong.
Ever have those moments when you’re working on something and the most unfitting, clashing kind of music comes on?
I’m sitting here writing about a car chase to gun battle in Downtown Long Beach while the theme to the video game Katamari Damacy (one of the few video games who’s music I enjoyed). Seriously, rolling things up with [...]
